Getting started

• Add sources with the + button, or tap the grid icon to start from a band template. Drag anything to reposition it.
• Every source becomes a numbered channel automatically — see them on the Inputs tab.
• Tap a drum kit and pick 4-piece, 5-piece or full to explode it into individual mic'd channels.
• On the Check tab, switch between Mons, FOH and Truck to confirm each input from every position.

Choosing a console & patching

On the Patch tab, pick your desk from the library. PatchBoy compares your input count to the console's real local I/O, stage-box capacity and processing ceiling, and flags when you're over. The console patch and clean PDF export are part of PatchBoy Pro.

IEMs & wireless

Add in-ears or wireless mics from the palette and they collect into a rack on the Patch tab, where you can enter brand, model, band and operating frequency for each unit. Frequencies are included on the RF page of the exported PDF.

Sharing with the crew

Use crew share to hand a show to another device with a short code. It syncs the plot only — no accounts, no personal data — and the shared copy expires automatically.

Subscriptions

PatchBoy Pro is an auto-renewing annual subscription ($29.99/year or local equivalent), billed by Apple. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Restoring a purchase on a new device: open PatchBoy Pro and tap Restore.
